Delhi Night Drop is a composition that expresses the energy of Delhi during the night, starting with sounds of the city, such as noises from cars honking in the distance, people walking around you and the soft sound of conversation echoing through the air. After a few moments of these ambient sounds, you hear a warm, smooth bass line which slowly develops into an ensemble sound of drums. Once the percussion section hits, it hits hard and makes a statement, giving you an immense sense of confidence in the rhythm.

The beat is not fast; rather, it is controlled and consistent. It has an elegant appeal and draws you into its groove. The use of dhol and tabla accents add subtleness to the beat while synth sounds hover above; much like the confusion one can see around them in the streets at night, they all have a glow because of the streetlamps.
